Other Homework
From time to time there will be other homework in class. Most of the time this homework will be of an "optional" nature. I will strive to give you enough time in class to complete all projects and assignments. However, some students may want, or need, to extend their work time on those assignments in order to do their best work. |
Homework Reading Log (HWRL)
The majority of your homework in this class will consist of reading at home each night and filling out a Homework Reading Log (HWRL) as a record of your reading time and your attempts at active reading. HWRLs will be due each Friday during a normal week and will make up approximately 20% of your final grade for each quarter. An electronic version of this file for use in Google Drive can be found here: http://goo.gl/5VLFsk Students will need to make their own copy either in Google Drive or download as a Microsoft Word document in order to edit it. |
