Student Homework for Flood Victims
I'm so sorry for the students and their families that have been struck by the recent flood. If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know! As far as homework and classwork for my class is concerned: 1. My Read 180 classes will not be beginning our first actual unit until next week. If students have not returned to school by then, I will put scanned workbook pages up so that you may access and complete them at home. 2. My 8th Grade Springboard class will be finishing our introductory activities for unit 1 in the next several days. I have attached a PDF of the entire first unit to this post that students can download and print if they like. I anticipate that we will have completed Activity 1.1 and Activity 1.2 by Friday. 3. Homework for all of my classes is to read at least 20 minutes per night and fill out the Homework Reading Log (HWRL). You can find a printable version of this form on this website under the Homework Assignments link to the left. There is also a link to an electronic version of this document on the same post. If there is anything else I can do to help your students please let me know. P.S. I am working on doing some video lectures to go with the Springboard content. If I manage to pull it together I will post links and/or videos here as well. |
